Wide open spaces with endless rural views, peace and tranquillity broken only by the gentle sounds of birds gathering in the garden. A place where you can take a relaxed stroll or an easy bike ride exploring the farm, laze by the pool with your favourite book, or play a friendly game of garden chess. Lose yourself in the Rustic Maze, then share a laugh with the locals at nearby Bulla Creek Brewery.

About Glencara Cottage
Glencara Cottage began its first life as a shearers quarters back in the late 1890’s situated about 1km from where it now sits. Carefully dismantled, piece by piece and lovingly rebuilt to become a quaint little cafe as its second life on our property.
Nestled among the gum trees at the bottom of our garden it has once again been meticulously renovated to serve its third life as a couple’s retreat or a romantic country getaway.
Guests have access to the homestead’s pool and gardens.
Challenge each other on the oversized garden board games (eg.chess)

You are welcome to take a walk around the property or if you are feeling a little more energetic, grab a push bike and discover our quite country lanes.
Inside the cottage, there is a stunning copper bath under a large window. Ooh la la! You can enjoy a relaxing soak as you take in the spectacular views.
We have supplied a variety of books and board games in the lounge area of the cottage and yes there is a TV if you really need it.
During the cooler months we offer a firepit to enjoy as you marvel at the abundance of stars glowing in the night sky.
For Your Enjoyment
There are two reverse cycle air conditioners in the building.
There is one large bedroom with a queen bed (trundle beds are available on request at an extra cost).
The bathroom is a very generous size (you could swing a kangaroo in this bathroom… joking :)
The bathroom has underfloor heating and is simply stunning. We supply ‘al.ve’ body wash, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer.
The kitchen is fully decked out with everything you could possibly need for cooking up a treat for a couple of days or even a week. Perfect for when you can’t bear the thought of leaving the peace and solitude.
The lounge area is large and open with two large, comfy lounges to relax on.
